Thank you Mattīs, I am impressed about the images that are popping up in my mind while reading through your text. I am not familiar with the creation processes of architecture and never experienced the urge of realistic representation in the way architects are trained to do in order to perform their job. This may be the reason why I am asking myself if this text is describing a philosophical, societal or technical problem to you.
I can't help but read the text in a way that is not just material-centred, At the latest from the moment you bring up the comparison of MMORPGs, which have a strong influence on social interactions. Does „all possible information about a building“ already contains the ones about the living entities inside? Or is the human component the agents role (Gelernter 2) that would be elaborated in a further step?
What is the aim of this strong proposal of a »deep infrastructure« in the end? Is the technological problem of the mirrored world something to be solved or are you arguing that this is part of the issue that corporate structures implemented in today’s understanding of architecture?
Does the shift of representation to the post-orthography imply that the digital twin is _always_ a model of what will be created irl (and possibly fail) and/or/nor if it is a simulation that runs _simultaneously_ in the physical world?
