Hi Daria, Many thanks for reading the text and your thoughtful suggestions! The work of Parisi and Terranova has been on my radar, but I've never read it yet, I'll certainly look into it after your suggestion. It certainly do not want to suggest I'm the first to describe a shift away from the discipline. So your reference is certainly helpful to develop this.

Thanks for your reference to Trisha Brown, I wasn't familiar with her work. I like how you phrase it as "imagining unpredictability", which is almost paradoxical. As Massumi argues, the moment you imagine it as a threat you open it for securitization (pre-emptive security). I have to think of the practices in which these algorithms are (to be) embedded, in which the false positive rate (precision) is an important factor in having a manageable system -- to not be flooded with false positives. Nevertheless, it is something I need to think about further. Thanks again!
